Privacy Policy for Arch Crush
Last updated: 21 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Arch Crush ("we", "us") collects, uses, and
shares information when you play Arch Crush (the "Game"),
distributed via the Apple App Store and Google Play
under the identifier com.appstorehouse.archcrush.app.
By playing the Game, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
Summary
Arch Crush is a single-player match-3 game. You can play without signing in, and your game progress (levels, stars, coins, gems, museum) is stored on your device. The Game has an optional leaderboard: when it runs, an anonymous profile is created on our servers and a randomly generated nickname and your star score are sent so you can be ranked. There is no login, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. We collect a limited amount of data to process in-app purchases, run the leaderboard, and understand how the Game is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your data.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of data through third-party services acting on our behalf:
1. Purchase information
When you buy an in-app item (gem packs or the Starter Pack), the platform store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and our purchase provider RevenueCat process a record of that transaction (including the product purchased, the transaction identifier, and the purchase status) to deliver your item, validate the purchase, and prevent fraud. Payment details (such as card information) are handled by Apple or Google and are never received by us.
2. Device and other identifiers
Our analytics and purchase providers generate anonymous identifiers (such as a random analytics ID and a random purchase app-user ID), and on iOS may use the device's vendor identifier (IDFV), together with basic device and app information (device model, operating system version, app version) to attribute purchases and analytics events correctly. We do not use advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple's IDFA), and the Game contains no third-party advertising.
3. App activity / usage analytics
We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage events, for example screens viewed, levels started and completed, and steps in the purchase flow, to measure engagement and difficulty and to improve the Game.
PostHog may also record session replays, an anonymized reconstruction of your interactions with the Game's screens (such as taps and navigation), to help us diagnose problems and improve usability. These replays are tied only to an anonymous identifier, and text you type into fields is masked by default.
4. Approximate location
Our analytics provider derives an approximate location (such as country and region) from your IP address to provide coarse, aggregated usage statistics. We do not collect precise or GPS location.
5. Feedback you send
The Game may occasionally ask whether you are enjoying it. If you choose to send written feedback, the text you type is sent to our analytics provider (PostHog) so we can read it and improve the Game. This is optional and is submitted with an anonymous identifier only; we do not ask for your identity, so please avoid including personal information (such as your name or email) in the message. We also record whether the prompt was shown and how you responded to it.
6. Leaderboard
The Game includes an optional leaderboard. When it runs, the Game creates an anonymous account with our backend provider Supabase and stores a randomly generated nickname (chosen from a fixed word list, not provided by you), your total-stars score, and your platform (such as iOS or Android), so that players can be ranked. This information is tied only to a random per-device identifier; it is not linked to your name or any personal identifier. Your approximate region may be derived from your IP address by our providers as described above. The account is created automatically and does not require a login.
We do not ask you for personal information such as your name, email address, contacts, photos, messages, or files. If you voluntarily include such details in written feedback, they are processed only to read and act on that feedback.
How we use your information
- To provide the Game and deliver items you purchase.
- To validate purchases and prevent fraud and abuse.
- For analytics: understanding usage and improving gameplay, balance, and performance.
- To run the leaderboard and show player rankings.
- To read and act on feedback you choose to send.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising or marketing.
How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract, for the purposes above:
- Apple Inc.: App Store in-app purchase processing (iOS). apple.com/legal/privacy
- Google LLC (Google Play): in-app billing and purchase processing (Android). policies.google.com/privacy
- RevenueCat, Inc.: cross-platform in-app purchase management and validation. revenuecat.com/privacy
- PostHog, Inc.: product analytics. posthog.com/privacy
- Supabase, Inc.: anonymous account, cloud database, and leaderboard hosting. supabase.com/privacy
These providers may process data on servers located outside your country. Where required, such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards.
Data stored on your device
Your game progress and settings are saved locally on your device and are not transmitted to us, with one exception: if you use the leaderboard, your anonymous nickname and star score are stored on our servers (see the Leaderboard section). Local data is removed if you uninstall the Game or clear its data.
Data retention and deletion
We retain purchase, analytics, and leaderboard data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. The leaderboard account is anonymous and tied to your device; uninstalling the Game or clearing its data removes the local identifier, and your leaderboard entry can be deleted on request.
To request deletion of purchase, analytics, or leaderboard data associated with your device's identifiers, contact us at contact@archcrush.com and we will process your request, including deletion via our providers, in accordance with applicable law.
Security
All data collected by the Game is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children's privacy
Arch Crush is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at contact@archcrush.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, within the Game or on our website.
